The Vision

Our vision is to work with partners to offer holistic care to the entire community of the Near Northside. Ecclesia’s role is to foster an environment where partners and community can thrive by strengthening the under-resourced through providing basic needs, spiritual and emotional care, and education. We envision a day where children are thriving in schools and have the help that they need, where food scarcity is no longer a reality for people in our area, and where seniors have a place to come to be seen and heard. A place where the arts are celebrated and explored by all ages, a place where creative freedom is valued, where dreams are realized.

The Story

Back in 2015, Ecclesia was searching for more space to expand as our downtown campus was reaching capacity. Through those efforts, we found two churches that gifted their buildings to Ecclesia, so that we could continue the work of ministry in their communities. One of them is the West Side campus in the Piney Point neighborhood and the other is a building in the Lindale area.

Currently, we are seeking to serve and love the community of Lindale by partnering with different organizations to serve the Lindale community. In the future we plan on using this as a third campus for Sunday gatherings for the community to gather and worship together.
